India Bike Week, often called IBW, is the biggest motorcycle festival in the country. Thousands of bikers from all over India ride down to Goa for this two-day celebration.

What happens at IBW:

  • Custom bike shows (creatively modified motorcycles)

  • Live bands and DJs

  • Food stalls from across India

  • Flat track races and stunt competitions

  • Big brand stalls like Harley-Davidson, Royal Enfield, KTM, and more

  • Riding gear and accessories on sale

  • A chill beach party vibe

Whether you ride alone or with a group, IBW is a great place to meet other riders and share stories. You’ll see some of the coolest bikes in the country and enjoy the sea breeze of Goa.

2. BOBMC Rider Mania (Kutch, Gujarat)

  • Date: January 31 – February 2, 2025

  • Location: Dhordo, Kutch

BOBMC stands for Brotherhood of Bulleteers Motorcycling Consortium. Rider Mania is their annual gathering. This is different from Royal Enfield’s Rider Mania in Goa (which stopped after 2022). This one brings together Bullet clubs from across India, Nepal, and Bhutan.

What’s special:

  • Rides across the white desert of Kutch

  • Desert camping and bonfire nights

  • Traditional Gujarati food

  • Music and dance nights

  • Bike games and challenges

  • Real connection between riders

This event is about community, not brands. If you ride a Bullet, this is your tribe.

4. Royal Enfield Rides (Pan India)

Royal Enfield doesn’t host big fests anymore, but they run curated rides all over India. These are guided group rides to beautiful or tough terrains, and you don’t need to plan anything yourself.

Popular 2025 Rides:

  • Everest Base Camp Ride (May 19–29): Ride from India into Nepal, all the way to EBC.

  • Himalayan Odyssey (June 28 – July 15): Ride through Ladakh and Himachal.

  • Moto Himalaya (Ladakh) (September 4–14): A relaxed ride through the mountains.

These are for serious riders. You’ll be riding in high altitude, on gravel and off-road routes. But the views and experience make it worth every minute.

5. Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL)

  • Season 2 Launch: March 2025

  • Cities: Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, and others

The ISRL is a new kind of event—it’s racing, not a festival. Supercross is a format where dirt bikes race on specially made tracks with jumps, turns, and obstacles.

This year’s season has big sponsors and is getting more attention, especially with actor Salman Khan as the brand ambassador.

What’s new in 2025:

  • Multiple city rounds

  • Pro riders from India and abroad

  • Custom-built race tracks

  • Live TV and YouTube coverage

You can watch as a fan or even register to compete if you’re trained in off-road riding.

6. Local Rider Meetups (Monthly/Weekly)

Not all great events need to be massive. Across cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, there are regular meetups that are growing with every ride.

Common meetup styles:

  • Sunday Breakfast Rides: Riders meet at 5 or 6 AM, ride to a dhaba or café nearby (like Murthal near Delhi), have food, and ride back.

  • Night Rides: Start around 9–10 PM and explore empty city roads or highways.

  • Group Rides by Dealerships: Brands like Jawa, Royal Enfield, and KTM often organize city rides.

You can usually find these events on:

  • Instagram biker pages

  • Facebook groups like “Delhi Bikers Breakfast Run”

  • WhatsApp communities

If you’re a new rider, this is a good way to get used to group riding and meet friendly people.

7. Custom Bike Shows & Builder Meets

India has a growing custom motorcycle scene. Builders and artists are doing amazing work with old Bullets, Harley cruisers, Jawa bobbers, and more.

Events that showcase this:

  • IBW’s Custom Bike Arena

  • Rajputana Customs displays

  • Auto Expo (2026 expected)

Some brands also host their own builder contests and ride-ins.

8. Track Days & Racing School Events

For those who love speed and learning to control their bike better, track days are the way to go. These are held on closed racing tracks like:

  • MMRT (Chennai)

  • Buddh International Circuit (Greater Noida)

  • CoASTT (Coimbatore)

Track days are usually:

  • Open to anyone (you just need riding gear)

  • Divided by skill level (beginner, intermediate, expert)

  • Run by clubs like Apex Racing Academy, RACR, and PowerDrift Track School

It’s a safe and fun way to learn proper cornering, braking, and throttle control.

9. Moto Camping & Adventure Rides

This trend is picking up quickly. Riders pack tents, food, and basic gear and head out to stay in nature. Many campsites in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra now offer “rider-friendly” camping.

Popular locations:

  • Spiti Valley

  • Tirthan Valley

  • Bhandardara (Maharashtra)

  • Ranthambhore forest routes

Some platforms like WanderOn and The Great Next offer guided motorbike camping tours.

10. International Events Attended by Indian Riders

Even though they happen outside India, many Indian bikers now go to:

  • Indian Riders Fest – Czech Republic (June 2025)

  • Wheels & Waves – France

  • EICMA – Italy (November)

If you ride a Harley, Indian Motorcycle, or BMW, you’ll find many community rides and tours connecting India to global biking culture.

Tips for Attending Events

  • Gear up – Always wear a helmet, gloves, and jacket.

  • Register early – Events like IBW and Rider Mania fill up fast.

  • Join online groups – They often have early announcements.

  • Respect the ride – Follow group rules and ride responsibly.

  • Don’t over-pack – Keep it simple unless it’s a camping event.

Conclusion

India’s motorcycle events in 2025 offer something for everyone. Whether you enjoy racing, exploring, camping, or just want to share a meal with fellow riders, there’s a ride waiting for you.

These events aren’t just about bikes. They’re about the people who ride them.
